So often I talk to myself ...ha - YES, I talk to myself...well no, actually I talk to Yeshua about who I allow to be a role model in my daughter’s life, as well as my own. Nevertheless, I've come to the conclusion that I don’t want to be her #1 role model – nor does her dad - however, we will settle for being #2...hmmmm, I like the sound of being #2. Simply because...it is a proven fact we are flawed and covered in sin.
Here's the thing...I want someone - that is perfect in every way to guide my family.My conclusion:Yeshua is the:
Prince of Peace – Prosperity – and Life.
He doesn’t look at skin color because it's not important.
He doesn’t look at social status because the poorest of poor could have the heart of hearts.
He doesn't follow the crowd - He is the crowd!
He sees the need – and He fills the need.
He walks away from gossip because it cuts to the core.
He restores – He heals – He loves – He inspires.
He is the perfect NUMBER ONE ROLE MODEL for my daughter – TUH for my family too!
Being a role model is a big responsibility and it shouldn’t be taken lightly. Our kids – possess our DNA – so having said that, they are spiritually connected to our strongholds – some things are just “in them”. It is imperative to have good earthly role models. They should display characteristics of our Creator – meekness – humbleness – love – peace – self-discipline – stewardship – leadership.
I am so grateful for my spiritual role models – because they are sound and solid in faith– honest in weakness – and transparent through the healing process.
I aspire to inspire those that are around me.
